Leave the High Street on to New Street. This is next to the pedestrian traffic lights at the heart of the High Street and signed towards the station and the hospital. Lloyds Bank is on the corner.  After 150 yards turn right down King Street and the car park may be seen on the left.

There is no height restriction and the car park is open 24 hours.

Parking is free after 6 p.m. until 8 a.m.

You can purchase longer stay permits from the machines in cash (not via a mobile phone) for up to 7 days and if you go to this web site you can buy six month or annual permits but ironically can only stay in this car park for a maximum of 4 hours even with a two day permit!
