Leave the High Street on to New Street. This is next to the pedestrian traffic lights at the heart of the High Street and signed towards the station and the hospital. Lloyds Bank is on the corner.  After 150 yards turn right down King Street and the car park may be seen on the left.

There is no height restriction and the car park is open 24 hours.

Parking is free after 6 p.m. until 8 a.m. 

You can purchase longer stay permits from the machines in cash (not via a mobile phone) for up to 7 days and if you go to this web site you can buy six month or annual permits but ironically can only stay in this car park for a maximum of 4 hours even with a two day permit!


Paying at Honiton at King Street Car Park

Parking is charged at 75p for each 30 minutes or £1.50 per hour.

Maximum payment £4.50 for 3 hours. 

Special offer 2022: 
Pay £1 after 3pm on Saturday and your ticket is valid until 8am on Monday.

There is no option to park for longer even with a permit

Motorcycle parking is not mentioned on the signage but there is no dedicated space so it is assumed there is no motorcycle parking (see the near by New Street North car park)

This car park is part of the East Devon winter parking scheme. 

Facilities at King Street Car Park

There are designated "Blue Badge" parking spaces near the exit although parking for badge holders is not free and if you have one you should still pay as normal. Access to the town centre is level but the pavements are narrow.

There are public toilets on site but closed when the web site was written (September 2021) and are unlikely to reopen. The nearest public toilets are in Lace Walk Car Park
